Safety, Sportsmanship, and Self-Discipline

◾Always prioritise safety in training, both for yourself and others.

◾Show good sportsmanship regardless of outcome.

◾Practise discipline in your conduct, attendance, and approach to learning.

Hygiene and Cleanliness

◾Maintain personal hygiene, including clean training gear, trimmed nails, and footwear off the mats.

◾Help keep our training environment clean, tidy, and respectful for everyone.

Support and Humility

◾Encourage and assist fellow members in their progress.

◾Remain humble, no matter your experience or rank—there is always more to learn.

Conflict Resolution

◾Address concerns through open and respectful communication.

◾Focus on solutions and understanding—aggression or hostility is never acceptable.

Bullying

◾GCJ Academy maintains a zero-tolerance policy for bullying of any kind, including physical, verbal, or social.

Parent/Guardian Guidelines

◾Observe classes respectfully and avoid sideline coaching.

◾Allow instructors to lead training without interruption, ensuring clear guidance and reducing pressure on children.

◾Refrain from giving instructions or technical feedback during class, as this may confuse or overwhelm students.

◾Maintain open, respectful communication with coaches if you have questions or feedback.

◾Be a positive role model by encouraging consistency, effort, and enjoyment in training.

Accountability and Responsibility

◾All members and parents are expected to uphold this Code of Conduct.

◾Take ownership of actions and demonstrate commitment to our shared values.

Violations of Conduct

◾Any breaches may result in verbal or written warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from the Academy, depending on severity.

Membership Termination

◾GCJ Academy reserves the right to terminate or refuse membership at its discretion.

Continuous Improvement

◾We welcome respectful feedback and suggestions as we continue to grow and improve as a community.
